So the October beer of the month is a selection from Hades itself, AKA Belgium.

(Did I tell you that i get to go to the Beer Advocate Belgian Ale Festival this month:

http://beeradvocate.com/fests/

Anyhoo....for a mere $6.66 you too can enjoy two different golden ales as well as an incredible red ale.

Duvel in the 750ml is the first golden ale, with a bright lemony nose and start and a yeasty palate and clear finish. Its so easy and yummy, it'll only make you think of the fallen angel himself.

The other golden ale is called Satan (fittingly) and it comes in a three pack of 12oz bottles. Its a bit bigger in heft and mellower in fruit, with a creamier palate and longer finish. Its very satisfying and lets just say righ t now damn good.

The red ale is the counterpart of the Satan golden ale, and if you liked the golden, the red will knock your socks off. Its got all that going for it in the golden way, with the added dimensionality of hops and malts that make a good red stand out. Its almost chewy in the palate, with a dry roasted-ness that'll remind you of the devil himself (not George Bush, thank goodness, remember our president is a 'recovered' alcoholic (not that i believe that)).

The Satan three packs are also on sale for $6.66 in all of October.

Anywho again, stop and get damned by our staff, or you could just treat yourself to something good/bad.....er.....whatever....
