I had a cool coinicidink today when i found deep in our backroom a bottle of the item in subject from the 2002 vintage, and then noticed that we had the 2003 vintage fronted on our shelf and the next order cominginof the 2004 vintage.

Alors, i swiped the last 2002 bottle, grabbed the one of the few remaining of the '03 and pried out the '04 from the box to test out over some yummy pizza a la http://www.homeslicepizza.com/about .

The '02 was a little tired, but all the Moillard finesse was there, with ample berries and spices on a lite palate and bright finish.

The '03 was standout bright jams of fruits and some nuances of peppers with a fresher spice back drop and tannic finish. Definitely the yummy expansiveness that '03 has brought out in most of the regions offerings.

The '04 was even fresher, with pleasing sveltness the older vintages lacked and a creamy finish that comes from the cherry and seed fruitiness that mark a good CdR. I liked this one alot, even with the '03 depth and textures standing against it.

a party in my mouth!
