I just got a wonderful shipment of organic Provencal wine in today, and was thrilled to have it coincide with a shipment of Ethiopian delicacies (beef included). My favorite wine vendor Bill (a horse is a horse) splashed this quaff at me the other day, only after pleasing me to no end witha domestic pinot meunier from Saint Gregory. The domestic pour was thick and luscious, with earth tones giving good wieght to the wonderful fruits and full palate. It finished wonderfully with well balanced tannins, and I am more peached to offer it at a great rate of ONLY $14.99.

The icing of the cake was from Mas de la dame, a Provence organic gamay with a dense rich character and teeth cutting tannins. The fruits open up as the meal goes on, and the richness becomes more complex with overtones of spices and peppers. It went ohsogood with the Ethiopian take-out I scored from Aster of Aster's Ethiopian Catering (512.786.9524). Aster used to have a restaurant, but unfortunately she said its easier as she gets older to just cater out her wares as prepared meals to high end groceries and cornershops such as ours; and I am only too pleased to offer her servings as well.

Anyway, the Mas de la Dame rocks the house for a fine meal, savor it as its marked at $17.99 and with limited quantity in stock.

thanx for letting me share my joy,
