So in a climatic apropos fashion, the item in subject swooped into our store in six pack 12oz bottle format to great success! We broke open stout little bottle and immediately the fine friendly folks sampling it figured out they needed to have it as well.
Victory Brewing comes out of Downingtown Pennsylvania, letting us southern sud suckers to appreciate the incredible pils as well as belgian ale the golden monkey. These two are fine hot weather friends, but the imperial stout here blows us away, just as the great Canadian front came in last night with all of its rain and flooding and freezing force.
This stout measures in at 9.1% alc/vol, and its robust dry dark flavor profile exemplifies the depth of character of Victory ales. It has a rich and yet simple palate with a forward hoppiness and a touch of espresso roast in the finish. I find it top in my picks of my favorite category of beers: imperial stouts.
take advantage of it right now as we at the Whip In are the only one's with it so far,
